In this course you will use the program Tell Me More English, All Skills, Proficient - B1. You will develop skills in all areas: reading and writing, speaking and listening. These lessons will equip you to function in several important situations: ordering meals, shopping for clothing or seeking medical advice.

1. Breakfast Menus
- Order breakfast, ask questions of the waiter.
- Vocabulary. Foods and methods of preparation.
- Grammar. Use "would like" to express a wish.

- Express dissatisfaction with your order, send it back and order something else.
- Vocabulary. Foods and cooking utensils, expressing tastes and preferences.
- Grammar. Comparatives and adjectives ending in "-ing."
4. The Menu
- Order a meal, expressing your likes and dislikes.
- Vocabulary. More foods and cooking-related terms.
- Grammar. Verbs in the preterite, meanings of "all."
5. Desserts
- Discuss foods and drinks, talk about feelings and tastes.
- Use the past participle as an adjective.

7. Window-Shopping
- Take the bus to go shoe-shopping with a friend, and give your opinion about an article.
- Vocabulary. Clothing, opinions, shopping, economics.
- Grammar. Verb + infinitive, present conditional, compound nouns.
8. The Fitting Room
- Learn the names of articles of clothing, sizes, colors and how to say what you like.
- Vocabulary. Shopping, stores, fashion.
- Grammar. Compound nouns, compound adjectives, superlative.
9. An Emergency
- Learn basic medical vocabulary and parts of the body so you can help someone who is injured.
- Vocabulary. Health and health problems, medical personnel and treatments.
- Grammar. Present perfect continuous, irregular comparatives.
10. At the Doctor's
- Describe symptoms and discuss your options for treatment.
- Vocabulary. Family, identity, social life, health and medical treatment.
- Grammar. Sequence of tenses, "that" as a conjunction.
When you have completed your 36 hours and the last lesson of the course, take the Language Achivement Test. Congratulations on completing your course!
