Bienvenidos al curso! Welcome to your course!

The Tell Me More program Spanish, All Skills, Level A1 forms the basis of the following eight lessons. The course develops comprehension skills as well as your ability to express yourself verbally and to a certain extent, in writing. To develop writing skills with coaching through the revision of two writing projects, we recommend a Writing-Intensive Course.

In this lesson, you learn to introduce yourself and say where you are from.

Lección 2. La casa nueva

In this lesson you will learn to describe a house and the furniture. You will learn how to point things out and describe their location.

Léxico. Hablar de la casa, los cuartos y de la posición de los muebles.

Gramática. Los pronombres demonstrativos y preposiciones de lugar.

Vocabulary. Talk about the house, the rooms and the position of the furniture.

Grammar. Demonstrative adjectives, prepositions of place.

Lección 3. Vida familiar

Learn how to introduce your self in greater detail by telling about where you are from and about your family.

Léxico. Familia, estado civil, edad.

Grammatica. Los verbos "ser" y "estar," el presente de indicativo regular, el gerundio y "estar" + gerundio

Vocabulary. Family, civil status, age.

Grammar. Two verbs meaning "to be": "ser" and "estar"; the present tense of regular verbs, the gerund and combining the gerund with "estar"
