Beginning Spanish 2

En este nivel se repasa las nociones y el vocabulario que ya se han estudiado en el nivel Español Elemental 1 (A1). Las lecciones abarcan actividades de la comprensión y la producción para mantener el nivel y ampliar los conocimientos léxicos y gramaticales y la comprensión y expresión oral y escrita.

Las lecciones se basan en el programa de TMM "Español Elemental A2, Situaciones Generales, Todas las Competencias."

In this level, you will review the concepts and vocabulary you learned in Spanish, Beginning 1 (A1). The lessons include activities for comprehension and self-expression to maintain and expand your skill level and knowledge of vocabulary and grammar as well as your ability to understand and to express yourself orally and in writing.

The lessons are based on the TMM language program "Spanish, Elementary Level A2, General Situations, All Skills."

Rent a place to stay: talk about dates, rooms, furnishings, appliances

Vocabulary: housing, articles of furniture, spaces in a house, varieties of types of rental housing

Grammar: the neuter article "lo" and other impersonal forms, using the verb "haber" in impersonal expressions, talking about obligations with "hay que," "es necessario" and "hace falta"; the present subjunctive of the verb "ser"

Describir lo que no funciona. Describir muebles, utensilios y ropa de casa. Dar órdenes básicas.

Léxico: Hablar más detalladamente del tiempo y de los fenómenos meteorológicos

Gramática. El pretérito imperfecto de indicativo, el presente del indicativo y el subjuntivo del verbo "hacer"

Speak about a particular moment in the past by speaking about the weather at the time.

Vocabulary. More details about the weather and meteorological phenomena

Grammar. The imperfect preterite indicative, the present indicative and the present subjunctive of the verb "hacer"

Formular una invitación por teléfono. Expresar un deseo. Hablar de alimentos, platos y utensilios de cocina. Pedir ayuda a alguien.

Léxico. Vivienda, alimentación, familia

Gramática. "Todo" complemento del verbo, el futuro de indicativo, el uso de "vosotros"

Extend an invitation on the telephone. Express a desire. Speak of foods, dishes and kitchen utensils. Ask someone for help.

Vocabulary. Housing, food, family and family relationships
