Description of Placement Assessment
La Dama de Elche, Valencia, España, entre los siglos V y IV a.C.
The Lady of Elx, Valencia, Spain, between fifth and fourth centuries B.C.E.
This assessment is designed to measure every skill level. It can even distinguish between a fluent learner and a native speaker! Some of the questions are advanced enough to stump even a proficient student. Such high-level questions are for placing near-native learners in the correct course.
Only the questions you can understand and respond to with relative ease are for you. It is important to keep this in mind, because this is a timed test.
- The Placement Assessment takes between 20 to 50 minutes.
- It can only be taken once.
- You can pause the test and resume it later if you need to take a break.
- There's no going back to change an answer.
- Each question is timed. If you take too long to think it over, you lose the chance to respond.
- Skip the questions that are too hard for you.
- Remain relaxed and find the questions within your range.
- Have your headphones and microphone ready before you begin.
