DO NOT GUESS at the answers during this assessment. Skip the questions that you do not understand. If you are a lucky guesser, your lessons begin at a level that is out of your "zone." If you are 90% sure, take your best shot, otherwise - no guessing!

When you submit the Placement Assessment, you see your score and placement level. There is also a link to an Answer Key, so you can see which questions you got correct and the right answers to the ones you missed.
What if my test places me at a different level than my chosen course level?
Usually we are good judges of our own skills and choose the appropriate level when we register for a course. However, sometimes the Assessment Test suggests that you will be better served by taking a language level other than the one for which you registered.
If so, your MLR instructor will consult with you about which level is most suitable. We support you with advice and information; the choice of which course you take remains with you.
